UN 특별절차에서 발송하고 대한민국 정부가 답변한 양심적 병역거부 관련 개인진정들입니다.

압축파일에는 AL KOR 2/2018과 그에 대한 답신, AL KOR 4/2015와 그에 대한 답신, OL KOR 4/2018 등이 있습니다.

이중 대체복무제 법안이 심사중인 시기에 정부에 제출된 특보의 서한은 OL KOR 4/2019이며 이는 한국어로 번역하여 제공합니다.

추가적으로 UN 표현의 자유 특보와 종교의 자유 특보가 대체복무제법이 통과되기 직전 발송한 공동정서한(JOL KOR 4/2019)도 파일로 제공하고 있습니다. 이에 대한 정부 답변 역시 그러합니다.

The attached files contain the document of the UN Special Procedures for the Human Rights regarding the issue of Korean conscientious objectors. They are all in English.

Among them, OL KOR 4/2019 is available in Korean which was most recently submitted to the Korean Government during the Parliamentary consideration on the draft bill for alternative military service.

Additionally, there are files of a joint other letter (policy) sent by the UN Special Rapporteurs on the Freedom of Expression and the Freedom of Religion right befroe the passage of the Act on Transferrence and Service of Alternative Service in late 2019 along with the reply by the Korean Government.

Each file has letters sent by the UN and the replies thereof.
